Camp Durant

Occoneechee Council owns & operates two camps: Camp Durant and Camp Reeves on the Occoneechee Scout Reservation just outside of Carthage, North Carolina.

Camp Durant is our permanent resident camp with full facilities and is the location for summer camp.

Facilities include Dining Hall, Trading Post, Health Lodge, Rifle, Shotgun & Archery Ranges, shelters and latrices in every campsite (some with two shelters), Rappelling Tower and more....
